Together for a Better Tomorrow

Making an Impact:

About APSF

The APSF is envisioned as a collaborative and participatory process of self-organized activities designed for thematic dialogues, self-organized activities, and cultural exchanges, aiming at inclusive outcomes, announcing next steps/activities, and public actions. Organizers of activities are invited to give special attention to the engagement of youth and grassroots movements, recognizing their critical role in shaping sustainable and equitable futures.

Given the complex social, political, and environmental landscape of the region, the APSF is a common space maintained by the APSF facilitation group where we can foster solidarities, advocacies, and coordinated actions among the diverse participants. APSF serves as a crucial common tool in reinforcing regional and global alliances, ensuring that civil society remains a powerful force in advocating for justice, equality, and democratic governance.

Making an impact:

General goals of participation of organizations and movements in the APSF

Strengthen Regional Solidarities and Cooperations – Develop collaboration among civil society organizations, grassroots movements, and youth leaders in order to build and strengthen joint efforts to address social, political, and environmental challenges while reinforcing alliances for long-term change.

Enhance capabilities for Strategic Advocacy and Policy Engagement – By building a relevant and diverse policy-oriented discussion base that empowers grassroots movements, informs decision-making, and gives way to coordinated advocacy efforts for justice, equality, and democratic governance.

Sustain Inclusive and Participatory Processes - Through which marginalized communities, youth, and civil society actors actively contribute to shaping policies and fostering a just, peaceful, and sustainable future.
